We serve our community by providing nourishing, responsibly made, and convenient meals. We start with whole, fresh ingredients and source what we can locally, to bring the abundance of our Valley to your table. We know the hustle of daily life can make it hard to keep yourself & your loved ones well-fed. We hope these meals will help you gather at the table, even on the busy days.

How Does It Work?

We try to keep it simple! Order food here on our menu. Select Home Delivery or Pickup at checkout. Receive your meals, reheat & enjoy!

All meals come frozen with simple reheating instructions.

Delivery & Pickup Details

Pickup

If you choose to pick up your meals, you can come by Millstone Kitchen between 10 AM - 12 PM on Wednesdays and we will bring it out to you! Or, you can swing by between 12-7 PM and help yourself to your bag in our self-serve cooler.

Delivery

We deliver to Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, Riner & Roanoke! If you choose Home Delivery, meals are delivered between 12 PM - 5 PM on Wednesdays.

We ask that you leave a cooler on your porch if you will not be home during that window. Or, you can request delivery at your workplace.

  • Order anytime and you’ll receive your meals on the upcoming Wednesday. Orders placed by 11 AM on Wednesday can be available for pickup or delivery same day! We encourage you to order what you’d want to have on hand all month. Each month we update the website with new menu additions and meals stay on the menu until they are sold out. If you see your favorite meal on the menu, order a bunch - they keep for many months in the freezer! Join our email list to be notified when the menu is updated!

  • We know good food starts with quality ingredients. We value contributing to a sustainable & healthy food ecology and seek to use our production to get local products onto more tables in our community.

    All beef & pork is sourced from local SWVA farms! Currently, we source meat from No Rest Farm (Floyd, Va), Hoof-Hearted Farm (Blacksburg, Va) and Turner Family Farms (Floyd, Va). All eggs come from my own backyard chickens, The Cedar Chest Farm (Blacksburg, Va) or Glade Rd Growing (Blacksburg, Va). Seasonal produce & herbs come from my own garden, The Cedar Chest Farm, Glade Road Growing or Riverstone Organic Farm (Floyd, Va).

  • In addition to sourcing sustainable ingredients, we minimize waste by composting food scraps during preparation and recycling ingredient containers. We also do not use any single-use plastic in our packaging! Instead, we package meals in aluminum foil pans, compostable bags and reusable plastic tubs. We are always looking to improve our sustainability & use lower impact materials.

  • We offer most meals in small, medium and large sizes. Small meals usually serve 2-3 people, mediums serve 3-4 and larges serve 5-6.

    Typically, one serving can feed one hungry adult (or a couple kids) if a side is included with the frozen entree. If you keep naan or pita bread (you can keep these in the freezer!), rice, tortilla chips, salad mix and/or fruit around your house, it’s easy to round out any meal. For reference, I usually serve my family of two adults and four kids the 4-serving size meals and often some kind of bread, salad or fruit on the side.

Emily Worrall, founder of Thyme & Table

I started Thyme & Table with a desire to meet the needs of my community for easy, quality meals. I saw that making dinner after a long day of work or caring for children was a challenge for many families, like my own. I experienced how helpful it was for myself to keep homemade freezer meals stashed away, and I wanted to share that good with my neighbors.

When I’m not cooking, I’m chasing after my four children, working in the garden, or sitting on my porch with a cup of tea. I hope these meals save you time to be with your people and do what you enjoy!
